About Steady

what this site is, and how the data is sourced

What Steady is

Steady answers one question for people recovering from surgery: where am I against the typical path for my procedure? It publishes week-by-week recovery timelines for common surgeries and injuries, a free recovery calculator that places you on the curve from three inputs, and a paid daily tracker that follows your recovery against the published benchmark.

How the data is sourced

Every figure on the site is read from a published, peer-reviewed study or rehab protocol, and links to it. Where the literature is silent, the site says so instead of estimating. The full dataset — every measured pain point and milestone, each traced to its study — is public on the recovery data index and free to quote with a link back. Steady reflects published measurements; it is not a medical device and gives no medical advice.

Who runs it

Steady is a small, independent project run by one person, based in Paris, France. There is no support queue and no sales team — email hello@growsteady.me and you reach the person who builds it. See also support, privacy and terms.
